From the onset, ALI would have won the "Best Dressed Team" category with its 18 team members dressed in striking ALI green and white shirts and khaki pants as suggested by Jim Ayala. Hopefully, the pictures are evident of the claim.

The ALI team fielded the most players led by JIA and all were at the driving range warming up and fine tuning for the game. The intention was evident ---to win the game!

The atmosphere among players was a mix of cordiality and anxiousness. Everyone was ready to hit the greens. The event kicked off with the ceremonial CEO tee-off from the respective companies. It was great seeing our fellow colleagues, both old and new faces, from the fleet of AYALA companies.

The weather was perfect and with a bang from the rocket firework, the round commenced. After 5 hours of playing, the team that accumulated the lowest total tally from the 7 best scores of the team will win the tournament. Everyone waited excitedly for the decision in the main function room. Amidst the chatter and laughter, there were tales of success and disappointment among the players.

It was indeed a close battle for the top spot. ALI came out tops and was crowned the champion beating Globe by 7 strokes!

It was a truly memorable day remembered for several things. It was a gathering of our corporate family members. It was a celebration of camaraderie amidst competition. The weather was fine. The golf course was beautiful. And most of all, ALI won the game.
