The country’s largest master planned eco community, NUVALI in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, will host a bike clinic on August 30 for people interested in healthy and very environment friendly lifestyle. The bike clinic on Sunday is the second of the 4 planned bike clinics set to be staged until September.

The bike clinics are the initial activities that will form part of the NUVALI Dirt Weekend event which will culminate in a series of bike races and activities scheduled on October 10 and 11 at NUVALI. 

The bike clinic is open to all enthusiasts, from those with no or little experience on a bike, to those strong and confident riders who are comfortable on steep and technical terrains.

Lessons will be conducted in NUVALI’s pump track and will cover bike commuting basics and bike skills like basic riding position, balancing, lifts, bunny hop, basic jump, track stand, pumping, racing lines, etc.

Participants will also be given a lecture on Leave no Trace Principle or LNT, which basically teaches participants on how to reduce their impact on the environment.

NUVALI, the 1,700 hectare mixed-use township development, features a well-conceived transport system for low carbon emission, eight-lane road for mass transport, multi-vehicular, bike and pedestrian use to encourage biking and walking.
