Philippine Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PFRD), Inc. through the Mabini Awards Committee chaired by Cong. Cynthia A Villar has chosen Trinoma in the 2008 APOLINARIO MABINI Award as one of the Disabled Friendly Establishments of the Year. Trinoma has qualified in this category for being most responsive to the needs of persons with disabilities. Trinoma was commended for the facilities it had thoughtfully put in place in order for disabled visitors to fully enjoy their stay at said establishment. Trinoma has indeed set the tone for the promotion of a barrier-free, non-handicapping environment in the Mall. Awarding ceremonies was held on Aug. 6, 2008 at Malacanang Palace with Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as Guest of Honor and Speaker.
